Bible Study Notes on Galatians 3 – 20151206

WritingGalatians 3:6-8  “…Abraham believed God…they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham…In thee shall all nations be blessed.”
Abraham was told he would bless the world and be the father of many nations.  He believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.  Those who believe as he did are made righteous also and thus are blessed by his example and considered his children.

Galatians 3:12   The law cannot justify.  All it can do is highlight sin and show where we have failed.  Therefore, it condemns us.

Galatians 3:29  “…if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.”
