Colossians 2:8  “…lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit…tradition of men…rudiments of the world…not after Christ.”

Colossians 2:9-10  “…in Him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily…ye are complete in Him…head of all principality and power:”

Colossians 2:11-12  “…circumcision of Christ:…Buried with Him in baptism…risen with Him through the faith…”
Reason for baptism.  Shows our decision of faith in Christ and association with His burial and resurrection.

Colossians 2:13-23   Discourse on legalism.  Specifically mentions tenants of Judaism, feasts, foods to avoid, handle, etc.  Outward form of religion.  We are free from all of it.  But there needs to be a balance between freedom and compassion for weakness of others.  Where that balance is for each is also a freedom.  We must not judge others when they exercise that freedom.
