Romans 2:1-4  “Therefore…”
Paul has been talking about those who leave the truth of God for a lie and receive God’s judgment for it.  Now he speaks of judging others.  Bit difficult to follow his train of thought sometimes.
He describes those who blatantly reject God and shows how they receive judgment.  Now he shows how those who appear to follow God, but who are actually doing the same as the others, will also receive judgment.  Our actions aren’t what condemn us, but our rejection of Christ.  Makes no difference whether we have been living a life of obvious sin or have been following the law of God.  All have sinned and must receive the redemption that only comes from God.  We can’t look down on or judge others as being unworthy as we are in the same boat.  “the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance”

Romans 2:11  “…there is no respect of persons with God”

Romans 2:12  “…have sinned without law…perish without law…have sinned in the law…be judged by the law”

I hope you enjoy reading and studying His word.  May it accomplish what He desires.  Please feel free to comment or post questions.  Thanks for reading!
